Laurie Wexel
My husband and I have been so blessed of God during our time in this church. I thought I had married a believer, but to my surprise I found out that my husband was in deep sin. When I told the church they reached out to him in love, and followed Mat. 18:15-17 and 1 Cor. 5:1-13. My husband stopped playing a religious game. He continued to live in sin. The church continued to treat me and my children like they always had; with love and respect. They really came along side of me. I will let my husband tell you the rest of our story.

Daniel Wexel:
I knew the church people loved me and were following God's Word. I am so grateful they supported my family during those years I made it so tough on them. I tried to forget about God by building a large business, and I continued to live in sin. Of course I tried to avoid the body; but I knew they were living godly lives, and saw that example everyday in my wife. The unconditional love she showed me was miraculous. She was submissive, yet frank and uncompromising in following God. She took the rest of the family to church for the fellowship and the teaching of God's Word. She knew she needed this to be a strong witness of God's glory, even if I never chose to repent.

I had gone through a lot of religious experiences before I was saved. I had even worked in a well known ministry. Through it all, I had seen a lot of hypocrisy, and I was bitter. But I had to admit my wife and those in this local church were genuine. God's love was so wonderful to draw me to Himself. He changed me over 3 years ago. We are blessed so much each week with great teaching and fellowship. I feel so privileged, and I feel responsible to share all that God has graciously done for me. What a privilege it is to be a soldier, among a group of soldiers, who serve the Wonderful King of Kings. Because of Him we are winners!
